• x1 25g ball of dk 100% cotton yarn

What you’ll learn
This course teaches an introduction to crochet. The way you’ll learn will mean that you’ll finish with two projects to keep as well as the confidence to move on to projects of your own. During the course we will cover starting off, different stitches, placements and directions, changing colour, fastening off, edging as well as reading crochet patterns and abbreviations. The way I teach beginners always starts with a granny square which you’ll grow into your very own blanket. The perfect way to learn and practice basics and find your tension. We’ll also do some work on amigurumi style crochet (tight, shaped double crochet good for making dolls/toys).

As with all Ray’s Room craft classes this is also a safe space to talk, relax, a chance for you to gift yourself some time out to enjoy a mindful activity, be inspired and a joyous form of self care.

Who is it suitable for?

Anyone who doesn’t know how to crochet. Or anyone who would like to build their crochet confidence and pattern reading skills.
